Mountain View Church of the Brethren is a welcoming, informal congregation rooted in worship, the study of God’s Word, and a passion for serving others.
Our Story
Mountain View Church of the Brethren (Mountain View Church) has been at its current premise since the mid-1950’s – over 70 years. Boise City annexed the church premises into the city in 1966, and the church was formally incorporated in 1968 as a non-profit entity.
The church premises are comprised of two parcels of land: a one-acre parcel upon which the 12,000 square foot church building sits, and a two-acre parcel with a parking lot, a grass plot with large oak trees, and a community garden.
Who We Are
We are a simple, small congregation – but open to all. Whether you are a committed Christian, someone curious about faith, or simply exploring, you are welcome here. No suit or tie required; we are informal.
We are not about entertainment. We gather to worship the Lord Jesus and to study His Word. We have a passion for helping others, sharing the gospel, and serving the Kingdom of our Lord in various ways.
